About Me

From my time at the University of Delaware I took away not only a vast knowledge on various parts of the fashion industry but also a love and appreciate for each of them. Before now I knew I wanted to be in fashion but not exactly what I wanted to do, now after four years of classes and wonderful professors I have realized where I thrive more; marketing, social media, and visual merchandising. From freshman year to senior year I learned not only do I learn better hands on but I prefer it, I enjoy the creativity and display of making brand posts, editing websites, creating marketing campaigns, and more. My love of fashion stemmed from my grandmother passing down her love of art to me. Fashion is my way of keeping that childhood love with me. I know that she gifted me this love and desire for creativity and in school I have only grown and procured that love. Professor Gydosh-Lopez and Professor Ciotti are two people I have considered mentors over the past four years. Professor Gydosh-Lopez showed me that fashion should always be fun, it should be beautiful and whimsical. Professor Ciotti showed me that I truly shine in the marketing and business side of fashion. These two influences have helped me grown into the graduating student I have become, with big goals and dreams of my future. Thanks to their guidance and teachings I now envision myself being the leader of marketing for a large fashion house, making decision of what gets posted, the campaigns, website changes, everything. I will never be able to truly express my gratitude from my time here at the University of Delaware.
