Paris Fashion Week

During January 2024 I got the privilege to go to Paris for study abroad. During my time here I took two class courses and got to participate in Paris Fashion Week. My classes focused on trend forecasting and the history of luxury design. I also got the amazing experience to do workshops and participate in lectures from people like Anna Barr, Olivier Roux, Milliner Jean-Pierre Fritz, and Maud Ruby. Fashion week included a five day internship with Elie Saab, and two one-day internships on the Sean Suen Fall/Winter 2024 show and Yara Shoemaker Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2024 show. From this trip I learned how to think on my feet more in a runway and showroom environment, as well as gathered experience by dressing models, helping flow client showings, and keep showroom and backstage organized.
